The 28th (Regular) General Meeting of LEMA in FY2026 – The 63th Board of Directors Meeting – The 47th Employee Merit Awards Ceremony – The Joint Social Gathering

The 28th (Regular) General Meeting was held on Monday, May 25th at Meiji Memorial Hall. At the general meeting, the 2025 Business Report and Financial Statements, as well as the 2026 Business Plan and Budget, were deliberated and all were approved. In addition, due to the expiration of the terms of office for all directors and auditors, all members stepped down, and 18 new directors and 3 new auditors were elected. A total of 74 participants attended the meeting, including secretariat staff and media personnel.
Following the general meeting, the 63rd Board of Directors Meeting was convened, at which the President, Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, and Managing Director were selected, thereby establishing the new management structure. President: Tomohisa Tao (Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd.) Vice Presidents: Akira Suzuki (Niterra Co., Ltd.), Arata Ichinose (Honda Motor Co., Ltd.) Executive Directors: Seiichi Kai (Kawasaki Motors, Ltd.), Toshiyuki Taneda (Kubota Corporation), Hisashi Hida (Komatsu Ltd.), Yasuo Osawa (Sawafuji Electric Co., Ltd.), Tomohiro Miyoshi (Daihatsu Infinearth Co., Ltd.), Atsushi Ueda (Bosch Corporation), Kazuhiro Aruga (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine & Turbocharger, Ltd.) Managing Director: Koji Tani (Japan Land Engine Manufacturers Association)
Subsequently, the 47th Employee Achievement Awards Ceremony was held, where 29 employees recommended by member companies and 2 employees recommended by the President were honored, for a total of 31 award recipients. We received congratulatory remarks from distinguished guests: Mr. Masamichi Ito, Director of the Automobile Division, Manufacturing Industries Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Mr. Yuichiro Miho, Director of the Production Materials Office, Technology Extension Division, Agricultural Products Bureau, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Afterward, a joint social gathering was held with the participation of approximately 130 attendees, and all events concluded successfully.
